The bright red color comes from a polyphenol in the pulp of blood oranges that bathed in plenty of sunshine. Although Amabuki normally uses Japanese words like Fujin (god of the wind) and Raijin (god of lightning), this time they borrowed the Western name Apollon, after the sun god Apollo.
