Set around left overs from a shared meal, the painting brings together anthropomorphic figures, in a scene where generosity, companionship and consumption coexist. I am interested in the quiet rituals through which we welcome others, share what we have and make space around the table, while also acknowledging the contradictions that exist within these acts of care.
