1960's - Vega - SS-5 Folklore - "Pete Seeger Style" Long Neck Banjo w/ Original Chip Case 3/4 Size to our Ukebass and TravelerThis is an early and very nice example of the classic Vega longneck "folk" banjo (Folklore SS 5) from the 1960s, The PS 5 was originally designed as a custom instrument for Pete Seeger (with tone ring and vega star on headstock) then put into production late in 1958. This is the Folklore SS 5 model without tone ring (much lighter).
