Artistic process:   Casting glass in layers to create a design with depth and dimension with inclusions of casted koi

The sunflowers are kilncasted then kilnformed into a shape including a hump in the center organic shape

These are fired to a full fuse to make them smooth and food safe  The final step was to form into the shape of a bowl

The flower petals are made with pattern bars that are assembled in pairs for each petal

Hot Crackles Music Note Sculpture koi Artistic process: Casting glass inArtistic Process: The design features an abstract of yellow, black and white swirls and patterns. The first step was to create the colorful swirls and patterned glass kilnfired in a thick form. The next step was to draw the design onto the glass with a waterproof marker then cut out on my ring saw. Once I finished sawing, I ground smooth all the edges and then it was fire polished in the kiln. The music note is epoxied to the stand that was made with
