The glass stand has red bits fused into the clear glass and is kilnformed into a shape to support the sculpture with coldworking to ensure the bottom is level and sturdy

These were fired to a full fuse to make them smooth and food safe  The final step was to form into the shape of a bowl

The first step was to make a temporary mold of a music note, then to create the swirls of each color into a glass design. that glass was then cut and designed into a pattern in the shape of a music note.
